The official Genshin Impact Twitter account announced two brand new characters one of which is the prestigious dancer Yun Jin. She is expected to be a part of the upcoming update 2.4.

The addition of a new character is probably the most exciting thing a casual Genshin Impact  player is looking forward to, especially in the latter stages of the game when there aren't as many quests and events to enjoy. An interesting name has been mentioned in numerous leaks over the last couple of months and her name is Yun Jin.

The Genshin Impact Twitter account has finally revealed  the official art for one of the upcoming characters - Yun Jin. She will arrive alongside the popular Cryo character, Shenhe.

Even though multiple leaks have been speculating about her element, none of them predicted her being a brand new Geo character. Previous leaks have been hinting that she's Anemo or even Dendro but it seems like miHoYo changed their mind when it comes to Yun Jin. She could have good synergy with the upcoming Gorou and Itto and if we add Albedo who will be available in a couple of days, there could be a great Geo party.

The official art also confirms that Yun Jin is a Polearm character, just like Shenhe. This will mean that we will get two brand new Polearm users in the following weeks.

Previously an interesting tweet from a credible Genshin Impact leaker called daisy has revealed the model for Yun Jin. Her abilities have not been revealed yet but we know for sure that she will be using a Polearm as her weapon. This will make her the second Polearm character with a Geo vision. When it comes to her rarity, there is no official information but she is expected to be a four-star character but these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt.
