Epic Games have announced the winners of Fortnite's Replay Royale contest and showed their videos, after weeks of competing. The grand prize is fairly jaw dropping but the remaining prizes are also attractive, up to the 100 winners.

The Alienware Aurora PC reward takes the spotlight, which is part of the grand prize along with Master Caddy HD (1TB), Fortnite Swag Bag, Alienware Swag Bag, 10.000 V-Bucks and a 30 minute conference call with Epic Video Team. The winner of this prize is Enzait, whose replay you can see at 02:17 in the video above.

The rest of the finalists whose clips you can see before Enzait's are Aylit, CubitFox, maro2k8 and LaffenGas. The finalists were awarded Atomos Ninja Flame, G-Technology Atomos Master Caddy HD (1TB), Alienware Advanced Gaming Keyboard and Mouse, Tobii Eye Tracker 4C, Alien and Fortnite swag bags and 5.000 V-Bucks.

Prizes didn't stop at the top five though, as Epic Games have given out Honorable Mention award of 5.000 V-Bucks to 10 submitters as well as Runner-Up awards to 74 other submissions.

Epic Games pride themselves on listening to players' feedback and the replay system is one of the highly requested features that were implemented. The system's intricacies quickly caught on and its explosive popularity resulted in the Replay Royale contest. Clips shown in the video were created entirely by just using the replay system, with only minor usage third party video editing software, such as the "this way" sign seen in maro2k8's video.

Considering the hype and the newborn popularity of both the replay system and the subsequent competition, it is likely we will see events of this nature in the future as well but there is no official confirmation from Epic Games yet.

Players are already calling for a skin design competition and while Epic Games have proven in the past that their team can , another batch of fan creations shouldn't hurt. Plus, they get to sell them later on, so it's a win-win situation.
