The centrepoint of bosses this season is the transformation kit. After eliminating a boss, players can pick up the transformation kit and become the boss NPC. They can then act like the boss and bait other players into pushing them without being aware. It'll be interesting to see how the new mechanic pays off in casual and ranked lobbies of Fortnite.

The mythic weapons are only available for players by eliminating the boss NPCs during a match. So make sure to take them out with your team to gain an upper hand in gunfights. Aside from that, all boss NPCs also drop a self-revive kit you can use to revive yourself if you are downed.
