After two delays, Epic Games are finally rolling out Fortnite: Chapter 2 - Season 3 and just as rumoured - there's whole lotta water on the new map, as well as new ways to traverse it.

There have been quite a few rumours, and even some conspiracy theories spun around Fortnite's Season 3, but now it's time to dive in. Literally, it seems.

If the trailer and its delicious surf-rock theme didn't make it clear already, the new map is all about a flooded Fortnite island.

Unlike in real life though, Fortnite's floods are the fun kind - they let you ride sharks and hang out with Aquaman. Yes, the trident hint Epic were dropping was a hint at his arrival, and you'll see him prominently featured in the lobby, provided you're a Battle Pass owner.

At the end of the trailer, you can take a look at one of the new points of interest (PoI), and it looks the part.

Epic are yet to post official patch notes, but there's apparently plenty to see in Fortnite: Chapter 2 - Season 3. There's a new drum gun in town, Jule's Drumgun, as well as Kit's Shockwave Launcher, which already sounds mouthwatering. Talk about a good choice of words, right?

There are also loot sharks, whirlpools scattered across the map and as we've come to expect - more cosmetics than you can shake your stick at.

When it comes to file size, Fortnite: Chapter 2 - Season 3 is said to be a download of about 10GB, so even though S3 is rolling out, you'll need some time to download. Once you do, make sure you wear something waterproof though, wink wink.
