Epic Games are rolling out a fresh batch of Gridiron-themed goodies for Fortnite: Battle Royale, including emotes, cosmetics and events, the later kicking off in December.
"As the NFL prepares a three-course meal of games on Thanksgiving Day, football fans can rush to the Item Shop with all new Gridiron Gang Set", the dev wrote.
Fortnite's new Gridiron Gang Set, bits of which you can see on the image above, features the all-new redesigned NFL uniforms. All 32 teams come with two selectable uniform styles, as well as the new Logo-a-go Back Bling, which lets players rep their team logos properly.
Moreover, the Gridiron Gang Set outfits let you customise your jersey number and even choose whether you want a reflective visor on your helmet. Note, however, that these are separate purchases from the cosmetics in the Fourth Down set.
Fortnite players are heading for an eventful period ahead, with the NFLPA Open and the conclusion to the Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl both set for December 2020 and February 2021.
"Reigning NFLPA Open champion Kurt Benkert of the Atlanta Falcons is set to defend his title as “The Best Fortnite Player in the NFL” beginning December 2 when the NFL’s best Fortnite players begin a competition to earn the most Arena points. Top performers will appear in the NFLPA Open championship in January 2021. Top players from the NFLPA Open will then move on to Streamer Bowl", Epic said.
As for the second Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl, the event will be held on February 4, 2021, and will feature NFL players and Twitch streamers. They'll start with Showdown matches in December and January, while fans will be competing to join the fun and play NFL players and Twitch streamers at Streamer Bowl.
