Fortnite's data miners have once again beaten Epic to the herald's trumpet and it seems that we'll soon see gifting available in Fortnite's store. Also, new modes are coming to the Tournaments tab, which is the only thing that Epic leaked.

Well, they didn't really leak the modes themselves, but they did accidentally show the central hub from which they'll be accessed. We're pretty sure Epic didn't do it intentionally, but it matters little as the cat is out of the proverbial bag and we'll be seeing three special tournaments in the standard team compositions - Solo, Duos and Squads.

Kicking off Fortnite's three special tournaments is Fortnite Friday Night, which is a weekly edition of Squad based tournaments. As the name states, you and your teammates can indulge in some team based action every Friday, checking out how you fare along the way.

The second tournament is the Salty Springs Cup, a solo tournament that runs from 27 to 31 October 2018. The description reads, "One week and three attempts to prove you’re the saltiest that Salty Springs has to offer. Compete to take home a pin in the Salty Springs Cup".

Fortnite's third tournament is the Tomato Temple Cup, which is a duo-based mode that will run from 28 October to 01 November 2018. The description states that you and a friend should "make Tomatohead proud" and "become legends of the Tomato".

All three tournaments will have Epic rewarding participants with shiny pins, which is likely to earn them participation in some of the more exclusive tournaments, as was the case thus far. The last thing dug up by the miners are the images that will grace each of the modes, the link for which you can find below.

One user seems to have discovered gifting and he managed to make it work in-game too. Note that the feature is unlikely to be released before 21 October 2018.

Interestingly enough, the same user claims to have discovered something that is "bad" and that Fortnite is "actually seriously broken".
