Ubisoft have confirmed that Far Cry 6 will have a transmogrification system at launch, meaning that you can swap the visuals of any two pieces of the gear of the same category to get the stats and perfect looks.
Ubisoft have dropped a brand new video, showcasing some of the new features that will be available in their shooter Far Cry 6, which is officially arriving later this week.
One of the new features that Far Cry 6 will have at launch is a transmogrification system. If you're unaware of the term, this basically means that you can combine the look of a certain item with the stats of another certain item. This way, you get the best of both worlds and don't have to wear something that looks cool but has terrible stats and vice versa.
Of course, you won't be able to combine chest pieces with jeans for example as the gear needs to be from the same category.
Check out the video below for a showcase of the transmog system (2:40):
The trailer also showcases other features like weapon and ammo types and special equipment such as a rocket launcher backpack and other crazy stuff.
Far Cry 6 is officially hitting the shelves on October 7, 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
