Ubisoft's upcoming shooter Far Cry 6 could be the first installment in the popular series to feature a meaningful endgame according to latest reports.

Far Cry games never really cared about their endgame content and to be fair, we don't think they ever needed one. Most players probably just want a decent story and villain, fun gameplay, some nice setting and that's basically it.

However, it looks like Ubisoft have actually added something new to the game, for those who prefer to have something engaging to do once they wrap up the story and side missions.

Speaking to YouTuber JoRaptor, who covers Ubisoft's games extensively on his channel, lead game designer David Grivel stated that players will get "something else" to do once they wrap up the main story.

Other than that, Grivel did not share much but judging by his words, Ubisoft have most definitely worked on some extra stuff for the endgame.

Ubisoft plan to reveal what exactly they have in store for the endgame at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event, which is currently scheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2021.

Let's hope that this content will be an enjoyable experience though, and not a simple filler activities and quests that Ubisoft's games are known for.

It certainly seems like the developers have been trying to improve some of the features that may have not been accepted well in previous Far Cry games, which is always nice to see.
