Evil West has become the latest in the long line of games delayed in 2022.
Evil West 's release date has been postponed to November 22, 2022, which is just over two months away from the initially planned launch on September 20.
The team at Flying Wild Hog delivered the message in a Twitter post that vaguely suggested the reason for the delay were the troubles of polishing the game and delivering it across five platforms, including two generations of PlayStation and Xbox console families.
Release date delays have come to be expected these days and this one didn't really surprise many fans but the choice of new release date did.
Namely, November is a month developers and publishers will attempt to avoid due to the market being largely dominated by two giant releases in that time period.
God of War: Ragnarok is undoubtedly going to draw a lot of attention and if some gamers decide not to buy more than one game at the time, GoW is most likely going to be the chosen purchase. That said, it's only releasing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 so the other markets are untouched.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is going to swoop over every platform on October 28, 2022, and it remains to be seen how long it will occupy all of the gamers' time before they can get into something else.
