Capcom Showcase 2023 officially aired last night with new announcements and news for both released and upcoming games. Capcom fans were expecting to see a lot at this showcase and while the event wasn't jam-packed with AAA blockbusters, it still had a couple of very interesting trailers.
We also got some bad news which you'll hear about in the article below but that's all part of the game development. So, here are all the major announcements from Capcom Showcase.
Pragmata
This sci-fi action adventure is now delayed indefinitely. It was initially scheduled to launch in 2022 but was delayed to 2023. Now, Capcom say they need even more time to make this the best game possible.
Dragon's Dogma 2
Game Director Hideaki Itsuno appeared in the showcase to share new details on Dragon's Dogma 2's pawns and gameplay systems. There is still no release date for Dragon's Dogma 2, though so stay patient as we look forward to more trailers for this highly-anticipated action RPG.
Exoprimal
We also got to see more of Capcom's team-based action game Exoprimal, which is getting an open beta test this Friday.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
Capcom shadow-dropped a demo for Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective ahead of the game's official release, which is coming in just a few weeks.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy
One of the big surprises at the Capcom Showcase was the announcement of the Ace Attorney Trilogy, which features three games - Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice.
