Europa Universalis VI's Grandest Virtual Party is coming back this year. The event will be held online, with the help of TurboLarp, Parsec and Discord.
Europa Universalis VI is welcoming back its Grandest Virtual Party, which will, once again, be held in an online setting, due to the continuing pandemic. The beloved castle venue will have to wait a bit longer.

The cherished concept is coming back. Paradox will host the Grandest Virtual Party with some help from TurboLarp and Parsec. The extravaganza will see 60 players divided into 20 teams engage in whole two days of diplomacy and warfare. The usual in-person event in a castle will have to wait some more but the organisers will use Parsec to ensure that connectivity issues are kept to a minimum. The use of Parsec will provide shared control of the same county to several people even though they may not be in the same physical location.
Communication during the event will take place on Discord, spiced with special custom functionality meant to enhance the experience.
Those who don't want to throw their hats into the ring but would love to enjoy the event can catch the entire thing while it's being live-streamed on Europa Universalis IV's official Twitch Channel.
