Escape from Tarkov is a game that is on discount only several times a year, so if you were thinking about buying it, now is the perfect time.
Escape from Tarkov is usually on a discount only twice a year: during Black Friday when the discount is somewhere between 25 and 30%, and during Defender of the Fatherland Day, which is a holiday observed in Russia, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.
Currently, the timing seems a bit unfortunate with the ongoing geopolitical crisis, but the discount and the holiday do not have any connection with the Ukraine situation and have happened regularly in the past on this date as well.
The current discount is at 20% so the prices are the following:
- Standard edition $44.99 to $35.99
- Left Behind edition $74.99 to $59.99
- Prepare For Escape edition $99.99 to $79.99
- Edge of darkness edition $139.99 to $111.99
If you are unsure which edition to get, we did a separate article that might help you. You can read it here .
For the players that already own some edition of Tarkov and are considering an upgrade to some other edition, now might be a good time considering there will probably be no other discount in the upcoming future. Upgrading from Standard edition to EOD edition is currently $76 compared to the usual $95.
Players should note that when upgrading the edition you get to keep all your stash items, money, and stats.
The 20% discount will be available from February 22, 21:01 GMT until February 24, 20:59 GMT. Discounts for purchasing multiple pre-orders don't stack with the holiday discount.
You can purchase the game on the official Escape from Tarkov website .
