Epic Games Store is giving away a fairly recent game that is best enjoyed on a controller, although KBM input is well done.
FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch is free to claim on Epic Games Store from December 26 to 27, 2022.
The EGS rotation happens every day at 8:00 AM PT / 5:00 PM CET so make sure you grab it while you can - there is no coming back for a free title that expired the day before.
In FIST, the players will navigate a dieselpunk world inhabited by humanoid animals living under the thumb of a fascist regime as they attempt to eke their freedom out.
These inhabitants of the innovative but oppressed city have their hopes in a rather violent bunny, which the player controls, as he goes through levels, gets new abilities and punches enemies with a massive mechanical fist that is fastened to his body.
Just like any other Metroidvania, players will not be able to explore the map from the get-go but as they acquire new abilities, additional avenues will open and provide loot and other commodities for those venturing into the dystopian but charming city.
FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch was released in late 2021 so it's just over one year old at the time of being given away for free.
