Elden Ring might have sold millions of copies but there's still room for one more ad, and this one is a bit different.

MMA champion Isreal Adesanya is telling you to keep trying even is the death is persistent in Elden Ring.  Adesanya is the star of the latest Elden Ring trailer, which is a bit different than what you might expect from Japanese studio From Software and publisher Bandai Namco.

It's a live-action trailer to simply remind players "what it takes to experience" the big world created by George R.R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki. A tough guy like the MMA champion Adesanya is certainly a fitting choice.

"Be sharper than their swords, hit harder than their hammer," Adesanya says in the trailer, which you can check out above, before ending with the players’ refrain, "May death never stop you."

A necessary trailer? Probably not, since Elden Ring has already become a global phenomenon, selling over 12 million copies in its first month and becoming the best-selling game of 2022 in the United State s so far.

Elden Ring is the first From Software game to go truly mainstream, attracting even those players who are not usually keen on the souls-like genre. It may not be the biggest and it certainly isn't the prettiest in terms of visual fidelity, but it has everything that the fans of the series wanted and then some more to appeal to more players than ever before.

Elden Ring is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
