Eagle-eyed fans have discovered what could be the release date for Battlefield 6, thanks to a small but telling detail buried in EA’s official legal disclaimers page. The section covering the Standard Edition pre-order bonuses states that the promotional offer expires on October 10, 2025, which strongly suggests that Battlefield 6 will launch on or just before that date.
While EA has yet to confirm the game’s official release date, it’s common for pre-order bonuses to expire at launch or shortly after, making this an unintentional but significant clue. This discovery comes just days after the story campaign reveal trailer, which confirmed the return of large-scale destruction and teased factions like Pax Armata vs NATO, but did not include a release date.
Fans Spot EA’s Slip-Up
The legal text explicitly reads: “This promotional offer expires October 10, 2025. Code expires October 10, 2027.”
Yesterday, a trusted leaker bill-bil kun revealed that EA indeed plan to launch Battlefield 6 on October 10 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so it looks like the release date is all but officially confirmed now.
EA has not made a statement about the leak, and with the multiplayer reveal trailer coming on July 31, the company could choose to formally announce the release date during that showcase.
