Battlefield 6 has teamed up with Dead Space for a Halloween event. Players will have the opportunity to play as dead space characters from Oct 20 - Nov 10.
During this time Battlefield will be introducing Dead Space: Convergence which allows you to battle against what happened after they found a marker under Area 51.
Players will be sent into the facility to uncover what happened when they discovered the marker. As they venture further into the base you will start to see hallucinations from soldiers, odd markings and them fighting each other. You will need to defeat these enemies and stop the convergence from happening by destroying marker objects.
Battlefield 6 Will Have Marker Incursion
Marker Incursion will be the focus of this collab. Players will be thrown into a new PvE mode that allows you to fight enemies that have been influenced by the marker.
Many enemies will be marked soldiers. These soldiers have been altered by the marker and will try to stop you from finding where the signal is coming from.
There will also be markers shrines that will spawn around the area. These will be made by the marked and increase there power in certain areas. You will have to destroy these to progress.
Your squad will have to make it through each encounter to try and stop the convergence.
DS-23 Pulse Rifle In Battlefield 6
Players will be able to find the DS-23 Pulse rifle when playing marker incursion. This gun is known from the dead space games and will be available as a battle pick-up.
This gun is very recognizable to those that have played the game and has a fast fire rate.
Dead Space: Convergence Loot
There will be loot that you can get when playing through the event. Some of the rewards you can obtain are:
- Aegis VII Soldier Skin
- RIG-Certified SMG
- Dead space gun stickers
- Soldier patches
- Player cards
- Other rewards and bundles from the store
The skin will be your main focus when playing the event. It resembles the industrial suits that you would see in the dead space games.
There will also be easter eggs hidden throughout the map. If you know the game you will recognize some of these things and if you dont it will help you learn more about what is going on at Area 51.
