Dragon's Dogma director Hideaki Itsuno might have teased the announcement of the Dragon's Dogma sequel at the Capcom Showcase.
It's been ten years since Dragon's Dogma launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Since then, the fans of this fantasy RPG have been waiting for a proper sequel but sadly, Capcom failed to deliver.
We got some rumours recently that Dragon's Dogma 2 is in development but officially it's been nothing but silence from Capcom for many many years.
Today, Capcom announced their first Games Showcase, where they plan to share an in-depth look and news at already announced games. Despite being very specific with the "already announced games", some fans hope that Capcom might provide a first update on the potential Dragon's Dogma 2 title.
Hideaki Itsuno, the director of the first game added fuel to the speculation by retweeting the official Capcom Games Showcase tweet which some Dragon's Dogma fans might see as a hint that this fantasy RPG franchise could appear at the event.
Of course, the retweet could mean nothing which is more likely in all honesty. Itsuno is probably simply supporting his studio and the first major event that Capcom is hosting.
Hopefully, there is at least something regarding Dragon's Dogma 2 that Capcom are preparing to reveal at their big show.
Capcom Games Showcase will be live-streamed on Monday, June 13, 2022.
