Dota 2 patch 7.25 is out and it's introduced some big changes regarding the pick phase, Heroes, and items, which will certainly have a huge impact on the current state of the game. The number of comebacks will surely go up with the adjustments to the Bounty system.
Dota 7.25 patch has brought some significant changes which could turn the game on its head before everyone figures out which Hero is OP in the new meta.
The All Pick now has five rounds of picking, where both Radiant and Dire select a hero at the same time in each one. The picks are hidden until the next round and if both players chose the same hero, the one that picked second will be given some additional time to select another hero.
The ban counts per phase in Captain's Mode are changed from 3/2/1 to 4/1/1 and the hero pool has been reduced from 50 to 40 in the Random Draft. Power Runes are now spawning at four minutes while the subsequent spawns are still every two minutes. At 40 minutes, the Power Runes no longer spawn at both sides of the map.
Both the gold and experience for bounties have also seen some big increases which could prolong some games as it increases the possibility of potential comebacks. Neutral Creeps are now easier to kill since their Frost Armor slow and armour got decreased while Radiant Ancient creeps are now easier to stack.
When it comes to items, it's safe to say that, if we exclude some exceptions, most of the items got tuned up overall, with both offensive and defensive stats getting an increase. The biggest change is probably the Teleport increase from 40 to 90 gold, in addition to the Teleport active on Boots of Travel getting removed.
The champion adjustments are pretty diverse. While there are some changes that will surely impact some heroes' overall place in the meta, there are also some minor modifications, such as the slight movement speed increase.
