Although the remake of Konami's Metal Gear Solid series was only a rumor up until now, singer Donna Burke's latest tweet could imply that something is actually happening with the popular series' remake.
Specifically, the famous singer, who sang the main theme for the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, boasted that there is no better feeling than working in the studio again, and fans went one step further and identified the text of the referenced songs by zooming in on one of the photographs from the tweet.
To make things even more intriguing, the singer previously published a tweet in which she is holding a cover with a picture of a famous cat with an eye patch that says Snake Eater, which unequivocally indicates her new engagement.
According to earlier rumors, Singapore-based studio Virtuos is developing a new remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. There were some earlier rumors that the game would be unveiled during this year's E3, but since E3 has been cancelled, we will never know if that was true.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the game that started the story of the Metal Gear Solid series; hence, a remake of this game was imposed as a logical solution. It remains to be seen whether these claims are true and whether we will see Big Boss again, only now in a remade version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
