GTA Online will make useful vehicles more expensive while pretending the discounted vehicles will make up for it.
Rockstar Games is going to change a few vehicle prices in GTA Online on April 27, 2023. Some of them will be discounted, others will get a price hike.
At first glance, it seems like a fair trade but the truth is that all the vehicles that are getting price hikes are the ones that people actually use and not necessarily for griefing.
Meanwhile, the ones that are getting discounted were overpriced in the first place and no one really saw them as attractive purchases and that is unlikely to change even after the price reduction.
GTA Online vehicle price increases on April 27, 2023
- Buckingham Akula: $3,704,050 to $4,500,000
- Declasse Granger 3600LX: $1,380,000 to $2,000,000
- Declasse Scramjet: $3,480,000 to $4,000,000
- Dewbauchee Champion: $2,995,000 to $3,750,000
- Imponte Deluxo: $4,721,500 to $5,750,000
- Mammoth Thruster: $3,657,500 to $2,500,000
- Pegassi Oppressor Mk II: $3,890,250 to $8,000,000
- Pegassi Toreador: $3,660,000 to $4,250,000
- Pegassi Weaponized Ignus: $3,245,000 to $4,500,000
Some of the price hikes are inexplicable, like the Granger 3600LX which was already not the best choice when it comes to Imani Tech vehicles but now it's going to be even less desirable. On the other hand, we are glad to see the broomstick at $8 million and we wouldn't complain even if it were 10 times that price.

- Brute Armored Boxville: $2,926,000 to $1,300,000
- HVY Chernobog: $3,311,700 to $1,500,000
- Imponte Ruiner 2000: $5,745,600 to $3,750,000
- Mammoth Tula: $5,173,700 to $4,100,000
- Ocelot Stromberg: $3,185,350 to $2,500,000
- Pegassi Oppressor: $3,524,500 to $2,750,000
- RM-10 Bombushka: $5,918,500 to $4,750,000
Most of these discounts are quite weak and don't make the vehicles any more appealing. All of them are still overpriced since they weren't all that good in anything that they do in the first place.
Rockstar also noted they are going to nerf some aerial vehicles which probably means the fighter jets are getting canned to balance things out.
