The next Battlefield 2042 update should bring a major nerf to overpowered LCAA Hovercrafts.

The LCAA Hovercraft is probably one of the most unbalanced vehicles in Battlefield 2042 and one of the reasons why players are not liking the game so far.

Hovercrafts have too much armour and health, their weaponry is devastating and players are also exploiting a bug that allows these vehicles to climb skyscrapers.

Luckily, DICE are already looking into it and will be nerfing Hovercrafts in a future update. This has been confirmed by the devs via the official Battlefield Direct Communications Twitter .

DICE say that the LCAA Hovercraft will be re-equipped with lesser armour, lowering its health while at the same time some of its weaponry will be tuned down.

On top of this, The MD540 Nightbird will receive similar tuning on its weaponry too.

The developers stated that they will keep a close eye on the early balance for future changes as they try to find the sweet spot for most of the game's vehicles and weapons.

These balance updates will, hopefully, make Hovercrafts much more tolerable in the future.

DICE say that these changes, and more, are presently scheduled to deploy at the end of next week, probably on Thursday or Friday.
