Bungie is celebrating its 30th anniversary and releasing some new content in Destiny 2 to mark the occasion. Starting today, December 7, players can experience a 6-player matchmade activity, hidden secrets, collectable rewards, and more for free. Those who wish to spend some money can purchase the Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack that comes with a new Loot Cave-inspired Dungeon on the Cosmodrome, classic Exotic Rocket Launcher Gjallarhorn and its catalyst and both new as well as classic gear including:
- Myth Claymore Sword
- Legendary Destiny 1 weapons
- Thorn-themed armour
- Exotic Gjallarswift Sparrow
- Marathon-themed armour
- Bungie-themed streetwear-inspired armour
Additional secrets won't be spoiled for players who are encouraged to seek them out.
Game2Give
Bungie is also hosting its third Annual Game2Give fundraising campaign wherein the studio raises funds along with Destiny 2 players around the world for a good cause: children’s health and wellbeing, humanitarian aid, and charity work that focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion. There are around-the-clock streams happening right now and you can donate some if you are so inclined.
