After announcing price increases yesterday and controversially removing new games from the standard Game Pass subscription for players on Xbox consoles, two of the most reliable journalists are now reporting on the imminent arrival of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in the subscription.
This is reported by journalists Tom Henderson and Jez Corden, where the latter is practically the mouthpiece of Microsoft, so the gaming community should take this information as reliable.
Let's remind you, it has already been confirmed that later this year Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will become the first Call of Duty title at all from the first day on Game Pass and at the same time the first such title under the auspices of Activision Blizzard, the company that Microsoft bought for 69 billion dollars.
When Diablo 4 was added to Game Pass in April, it resulted in an explosion of players. The same could happen with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which may not even need such a push, but it will serve well as the beginning of marketing and the equalization of Game Pass and Call of Duty as the most popular game series in the world.
But, Tom Henderson's report doesn't confirm a date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's release just yet on Game Pass but it does suggest that it's coming in July.
And in the end, it's important to take these rumours with a pinch of salt until Microsoft shares more information on Modern Warfare 3's release on Game Pass.
