According to to the report from Xbox insider extas1s, Microsoft will start adding Activision Blizzard King games to Game Pass starting next month. In August, we'll get Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, which will become only the second game from Activision Blizzard King to join Game Pass since the publisher became part of Xbox. The first one was Diablo 4 which arrived to the popular subscription service a couple of months ago while Microsoft also announced that Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will launch day one on Game Pass later this year.
In addition, extas1s claims that Tony Hawk 1+2 and Spyro Reignited Trilogy are also coming very soon but the exact ETA on these is not clear just yet. It's possible these two are part of the same August drop or perhaps arrive later in September.
Phil Spencer previously said that the teams are working hard on bringing Activision Blizzard King's catalogue of games to Game Pass but that such a feat requires a lot of time as it's not as simple as pushing a button.
When Microsoft closed the acquisition of Activision Blizzard King, many players expected a flood of games coming to Game Pass since the back catalogue of the publisher is quite rich and substantial.
However, that didn't happen just yet which has disappointed some Xbox fans who hoped to see all Call of Duty games and the rest of the titles on Game Pass as soon as the whole legal battle was done.
Still, better late than never. Personally, I'm excited to see all these games hit Game Pass, especially older Activision titles like Prototype, Singularity, Guitar Hero, Transformers and more.
