Cyberpunk 2077 map size revealed?

Dark Horse Comics have officially revealed their special edition of Cyberpunk 2077, which comes with a book that reveals the full map of the Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most, if not the most anticipated game in the last decade, and it's safe to say that CD Projekt Red have been using the hype levels to reveal some neat features and additions to the game, such as Keanu Reeves as the Rockerboy singer Johnny Silverhand for example.

However, one thing that the publisher is still keeping under the wraps is the map size. We know that Cyberpunk 2077's Night City will be smaller than The Witcher 3's world but it will also be much more dense with more verticality.

Today, we have a first look at the full map or it could be just one part of the Night City. Dark Horse Comics and CD Projekt Red have officially revealed their special edition of Cyberpunk 2077, which will essentially serve as the Deluxe Edition of the game.

It costs $99 and it packs a book, which will tell you everything you need to know about the world and gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077, stickers, posters and more. The cover image for the book is what's really interesting.

It shows the map of the Night City, but it's still not clear if the map is indeed the full area of the Night City with all its districts or we're looking at just one part of the map. Many players assume that this is the full map, which made them a little bit disappointed, since "it's not very big".

However, keep in mind that CD Projekt Red mentioned a couple of times that Night City's map is all about verticality - the deepest corners as well as highest skyscrapers. This should compensate for, horizontally, smaller map.

To be fair, we don't have any doubts about the size of the Night City and you can bet it will feature a ton of locations and stuff to explore even after you spend hundreds of hours playing it.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out on 16 April 2020 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
