Beenox and Activision have revealed detailed kart customisation options in the latest Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled trailer. You'll get to create your unique kart from bodies, decals, paint jobs, stickers, wheels and complete skins.
Beenox's cartoonish kart racer Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled is just around the corner now, which means it's time that developers start sharing new details about the game's features, gameplay footage and more.
In the latest trailer, Beenox and Activision have revealed what kind of customisation options can players expect from Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled once the game arrives in just over a month now.
Judging by the trailer, players will have a ton of options when it comes to kart customisation. Right at the beginning, we can see Crash Bandicoot in his classic ride, which quickly transforms into an old timer with cool front exhausts, flame decals and custom wheels.
You'll get to choose from various kart body types that transform the car from some smaller futuristic-like vehicles to a winged sprint car with big spoilers. Once you pick your favourite kart body type, you'll get to continue customising the ride with paint jobs that apply different style all over the car, decals and stickers.
There are also special wheels, ranging from standard ones with painted rims and a bit different tire thread to a unique looking tires that light like a Christmas tree.
In addition to kart customisations, Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled will also offer character skins or N.Sane skins how Beenox likes to call them. These will transform the look of your character completely, however, it's unknown how many skins will be available per character.
And last but not least, Beenox and Activision also revealed special podium animations that can be obtained so your character can celebrate his win properly.
One thing that is uncertain about all these customisations is the unlock system. We don't have confirmation if these will be unlockable through gameplay or if Activision will sell some of them for real-world money.
Hopefully, the latter won't be the case as Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled looks really promising and fun.
