A new season named The Rustland Grand Prix has arrived to Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled and this time, it's all about post-apocalyptic karts, items and tracks.
Activision's kart racer Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has a new Grand Prix named The Rustland, which brings a fresh batch of free content for all players. Traditionally, new Grand Prix always brings new customisation items, a new track, racer, game modes and more. The Rustland Grand Prix is no different and it comes with Megamix Mania track, the Golden Wumpa Hunt game mode and a ton of items for customising your cars and characters.
The new track Megamix Mania is three laps of survival on a dusty canyon with graffiti, chains, and flames for a proper end of the world-themed track. You will get to race through outdoor canyons and the interiors of this track while having plenty of jumps routes and boosts to keep things fast-paced. Megamix Mania also has several shortcuts to stay ahead of the competition.
As for the new game mode, in the Golden Wumpa Hunt you have to follow the glow and smash through the crates to collect the fruit and earn a stash of Wumpa Coins. On top of this, there are new Grand Prix challenges tied to capturing these Golden Wumpas.
Megamix is the name of the newest racer who is a mash-up of Neo Cortex, N.Gin, Dingodile and Tiny Tiger. He is the 50th playable character in the game and players may remember him from Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure.
The Rustland Grand Prix also brings three new karts and a ton of customisation options in that you can unlock in the Pit Stop. You can take a look at these in the full blog post.
