Square Glade Games and Silver Lining Interactive have announced that Outbound, their unique camper-van-themed “cozyvival” adventure, will release on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in early 2026.
Initially announced for PC only, the game is now coming to Sony's console too and it remains to be seen if it comes to Xbox or Switch 2 down the road. We've asked the developer if they have such plans and will update the article if they respond.
Outbound is set in a near-future utopia and it challenges players to embrace off-grid living, starting with nothing but a basic camper van. From there, players can craft, customize, and upgrade their mobile home while exploring vibrant open-world environments filled with secrets, biomes, and survival opportunities. The game will also support online co-op for up to four players, allowing friends to join forces for the ultimate road trip.
