Death Stranding has added another star to its cast. The American TV host and comedian Conan O'Brien will appear in the game as a prepper named The Wondering MC.
Hideo Kojima's upcoming mysterious action title Death Stranding is just around the corner. As you may know, Death Stranding will include several Hollywood actors and actresses including Mads Mikkelsen, Norman Reedus and Margaret Qualley.
Today, Hideo Kojima decided to surprise those who are eagerly awaiting Death Stranding with another popular addition. Conan O'Brien, the American television host and comedian will appear in Death Stranding as a prepper named The Wondering MC.
In a new video, shared on the YouTube channel of Conan's talk show, Kojima and Conan can be seen in the offices of Kojima Productions, where Hideo gave him an exclusive look at the game, his office and toys collection.
Judging by the video, O'Brien was so shocked by some of the Death Stranding footage that he turned to Kojima to ask him "what is wrong with you?". It's safe to say that O'Brien is not the first nor the last person to ask Hideo this question.
After that, Conan got a 3D scan and hoped for a hero appearance in Death Stranding but Hideo had other plans. As you can see in the trailer, O'Brien is no hero but players will get to interact with him and he will reward them with a special Sea Otter Suit. "With this suit, you’ll be able to swim easily in the river, you won’t be drifted away! BB would be happy as well," Kojima wrote on Twitter.
Conan O'Brien is known to gamers for his Clueless Gamer show where he reviewed dozens of titles including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is a must-see, God of War and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, which is the latest one.
Death Stranding is officially hitting the shelves on 08 November 2019 for PlayStation 4.
