CD Projekt Red’s upcoming game - Cyberpunk 2077 - will look more real than your Canadian girlfriend sounds to your gullible mum. We've been getting random pieces of information that have to do with Cyberpunk 2077 over the past year, and now we have a general idea of what the game will actually look like.
Understandably, CD Projekt Red will aim to top their previous project - the Witcher trilogy - and in order to achieve that goal they put out a job listing looking for "a talented and experienced Lighting Artist who is ready to work on the cutting edge of game graphics technology". Two of those actually.

The second listing does have a few extra lines of text, underlining the fact CD Projekt Red is looking for someone more experienced for the job: "This position requires a high level of artistry and mastery of tools to achieve the best lighting results in an open world game".
Various other (unconfirmed) leaks speak of destructible environments, flying cars, and physics-based effects. These are quite general descriptions, and in my mind, flying cars are a given. Cyberpunk 2077's team is leaps and bounds larger that the team that worked on creating the open world of Witcher 3, so the expectations are quite high even without the rumours.

In January 2018, Cyberpunk 2077's Twitter page showed the first signs of life when it tweeted out a "". Ever since that faithful day, rumours about the game at 2018's E3 have been running rampant.
What we do know is that CD Projekt Red has entrusted Brian Mantia and Melissa Reese with the game's "never before heard" .
