Capcom are currently hosting a big survey called Capcom Super Elections in which they've asked fans ten questions about what players like and don't like about Capcom.
Some of the questions also ask fans about classic Capcom games and whether any of these would be good picks for a remake or a completely new game in the series.
And according to fans, the interest is sky-high, especially for some of the most popular franchises like Dino Crisis, which is one of the most requested games by the fans.
This is not the first time that Dino Crisis' name has been mentioned in Capcom's official surveys. Previously, Capcom themselves included Dino Crisis as one of the potential answers when asking players about what old games they would love to see revived.
Years ago, rumours swirled around that Capcom have actually shot down a Dino Crisis revival which doesn't sound good for a potential new game in the series. If we had to guess, we'd say Capcom will probably release a remake akin to new Resident Evil remakes, to see if there's any interest in Dino Crisis before eventually greenlighting a brand new game.
Hopefully, we'll get something more official from Capcom soon regarding the Dino Crisis revival. In case you are not familiar with the Dino Crisis franchise, it's a survival horror series created by Shinji Mikami, who is also known as the founder of Tango Gameworks and the creator of the Evil Within franchise.
The first game follows special agents who try to stop a dinosaur outbreak in a laboratory on a remote island. It's known for its claustrophobic atmosphere and very tense encounters with the dinosaurs.
It's been over 21 years since Dino Crisis 3, which is the last game in the series so it's safe to say that it's time to take another look at this classic.
