Infinity Ward once again reiterated that they will support Call of Duty Warzone for years to come with fresh content. At the moment, the team is finalising the details for Season 6 of Warzone and Cold War, which will launch later this year.

In the recent interview with Washington Post , Infinity Ward co-studio heads, Patrick Kelly and Dave Stohl have revealed plans to keep updating Call of Duty Warzone with fresh and exciting content for many many years.

Patrick Kelly stated that Infinity Ward is still pretty much involved with the development of the free-to-play battle royale experience, which is certainly good news since they are the original creators of the game.

Kelly also mentioned that he and Stohl are currently wrapping up the details for the sixth season of Call of Duty Warzone and Cold War, which is expected sometime in late 2021.

Additionally, Kelly states that the team have "broad stroke" plans for Warzone in the coming years. But of course, a lot of things that they are currently planning may not arrive that soon since game development takes time.

"Some things we want to do mode wise, geo wise, they take more time," Kelly said about the Warzone's modes and map changes. "So they naturally need to slot in later. But we do think about this on a multi-year basis. And I will tell you this: We're doing our damnedest right now, to top [what’s come before]."
