Infinity Ward and Activision officially rolled out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Battle Pass for all the platforms, and there's an explosive trailer to go with it. Players get up to 100 tiers of content, like skins, blueprints and more.
As you can learn from the trailer, out of the 100 tiers, 23 are free to all players and there's plenty of stuff to grind out, including two new base weapons - RAM-7 assault rifle, which loves close-quarters combat, and Holger-26 LMG, perfect for mowing down waves of enemies.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Battle Pass comes with what Infinity Ward and Activision call the biggest free drop in Call of Duty's history, and they spiced it up with the addition of an iconic CoD map - Crash 24/7. In terms of maps, there are also Shipment and Vacant, but it seems that the community's attention lies elsewhere.
Namely, removing Shoot House 24/7, which has apparently been the most popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare map by far, hasn't gone down all that great. Fans are complaining that Shoot House upheld the true fast-paced, action-packed CoD spirit, which is exactly why Infinity Ward's move stung so much.
As you'd expect with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare community's discontent, Reddit is being bombarded with posts to bring back Shoot House 24/7, although we're yet to see whether it has any effect on the dev's plan. One thing is clear - Shoot House's popularity would've definitely fragmented the fanbase had it been left in with the introduction of Crash, so it's a real pickle for Infinity Ward.
Purchasing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Battle Pass also instantly unlocks the new operator Mara, a Venezuelan that works as a CIA agent against AQ sleeper cells.
