In a recent interview, Infinity Ward's art director Joel Emslie revealed many Call of Duty: Modern Warfare details, including the one about battle royale. Emslie said that players will have to wait and see if the mode is in the game.

Infinity Ward's shooter Call of Duty Modern Warfare is just around the corner and to keep the hype at the highest possible level, the developer have been talking about their remake for the past couple of weeks. Many details have been revealed including some of the multiplayer modes but many players are wondering if Modern Warfare will feature battle royale mode.

Earlier this month, design director Joe Cecot told IGN that Infinity Ward are big fans of battle royale mode but at the moment are focused on core multiplayer experience. While Cecot didn't deny nor confirm the battle royale mode, many players thought that the upcoming shooter will skip the popular mode.

However, in the latest interview with Game Informer, Infinity Ward's Art Director Joel Emslie teased players by saying that they will have to "wait and see" if Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have battle royale mode.

Again, this doesn't confirm that battle royale mode will be included in the upcoming shooter, but given that Infinity Ward won't rule it out completely suggests that they could have plans to include it in post-launch content updates, if not on launch.

Emslie also said that he, personally is a big fan of Black Ops 4's Blackout, just like the majority of Infinity Ward devs. Another tease or just a small pat on the back for Treyarch for their work on the game?

Some earlier Modern Warfare rumours revealed that battle royale is indeed planned and apparently, it will be a massive one. The leak claims that battle royale mode won't be ready for launch, which is probably why Infinity Ward still won't officially confirm it.
