Fallout 76's first seasonal event is named Fasnacht and it brings a new limited-time event quest named Fasnacht Parade, starting 19 March 2019. During the event, players will get to take part in various activities and earn special masks.

The wastelands of West Virginia are set to receive a celebration makeover in the first seasonal update coming to Fallout 76 on 19 March 2019.

Named Fasnacht, the seasonal event will introduce a brand new limited-time event named Fasnacht Parade. This repeatable quest is taking place in Helvetia and those who take part in it will have to find and aid the town’s robotic shopkeepers in setting up for the annual parade.

During the preparations, players may get on stage to play tunes, choose the perfect decorations or exterminate annoying pests among other activities.

Finding and protecting the Protectrons as they trudge around the Helvetia will reward you with loot and a special festive Fasnacht mask.

The more robots you protect during the parade, the higher the chance you'll earn a mask, and some of them are pretty scarce. Below you can see some of the masks that will be available during the event. Also, these special masks are tradable items so you can swap them with other players.

Fasnacht Parade will end on 26 March 2019, and those players are free to repeat the quest as many times as they want and grab as many masks as they can. Also, during the event, a special Fasnacht-themed C.A.M.P plans can be earned.

In the same post, Bethesda also shared plenty of details about their next patch which should drop sometime next week.

Semi-auto Energy weapons are getting 10 per cent damage boost and will now last five times longer before breaking as Bethesda greatly reduced the amount of condition damage they take per shot. The condition damage has also been reduced on heavy energy weapons.

On top of this, Bethesda reduced the fire-rate for some automatic heavy weapons but increased the damage by 10 per cent. And just like with energy weapons, Bethesda also reduced the condition damage on heavy weapons, making them last four times longer.
