Fallout 76's Halloween event will also bring game and Atom Packs sales, a special Scrip Surplus weekend, Daily, Weekly challenges and more.

It's Halloween week over in Appalachia and it all starts tomorrow, October 19, with the next Fallout 76 update. The imminent patch will kick off the Halloween and Bomb Drop festivities, as well as a special weekend.

Fallout 76 - Halloween 2021

The October 19 update will bring Halloween to Fallout 76. The Scorched will don their costumes and start lurking in the Wastelands. Eliminating the costumed Scorched will provide special drops.

Each "Spooky Scorched" will spawn as a legendary, and taking them down will net you a legendary item and a piece of Mystery Candy. Be on the lookout for a Spooky Treat Bag which you can open to get various rewards including consumables, ammo, and some Halloween-themed loot.

Eating the Mystery Candy on the spot will grant one of five random buffs but consider holding onto the sweets and reserving them for any visitors who stop by your C.A.M.P. during the event.

October 19 will also bring a free Spooky Candy Bowl to the Atomic Shop. Place the special item in your C.A.M.P., fill it with Mystery Candy and then wait for the trick or treaters:

The Halloween event this year will feature Daily and Weekly Challenges wherein the Dwellers will be tasked with either trick or treating or handing out candy. Each completed challenge will grant a special reward such as a consumable item, Perk Card Pack, Lunchbox, Repair Kit, or some S.C.O.R.E. Weekly Challenges to give candy to trick-or-treaters can award you S.C.O.R.E., rare crafting materials, or even Halloween costumes. If you manage to complete both Weekly Challenges, you’ll also receive the new Popcorn Machine.

Each Dweller will be limited to one piece of candy per hour from one player's Spooky Candy Bowl.

The Halloween event will end on November 2.
