DICE have delayed Battlefield 2042 pre-load times for PC by a couple of hours. The pre-load is now set to start on November 10, 2021, at 19:00 CET.
DICE's highly-anticipated large-scale shooter Battlefield 2042 is set to launch in early access this week for those who pre-ordered the Gold or Ultimate Edition of the game or have active EA Play Pro membership.
The developer also announced pre-load times for the game. On Xbox, you can start pre-loading Battlefield 2042 right now, while PC and PlayStation consoles players will have to wait a bit longer to download and install the game.
It's been confirmed earlier last week that pre-load will start on November 10, 2021, at 11:00 CET but for unknown reasons, DICE have decided to delay the pre-load start date by a couple of hours. The pre-load on PC will now start at 19:00 CET.
The pre-load on PlayStation consoles will start as previously announced - November 10 at 00:00 local time. Keep in mind that pre-load is available to all players who pre-ordered the game.
All in all, the delay is not that bad and most players should still have plenty of time to download the game and have the game installed before the servers finally go live.
Battlefield 2042 is officially hitting the shelves on November 19, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The early access officially starts on Friday, November 12, 2021.
