Battlefield 2042 open beta could finally kick off later this month - September 22 - according to insider Tom Henderson.
When EA and DICE announced September 2021 as the launch month for Battlefield 2042 beta, many players assumed that the beta would be dropping in the first week of September but sadly, that won't be happening. EA and DICE are yet to officially announce the specific date for the beta.
However, reliable Battlefield insider Tom Henderson has revealed that the beta would be launching later this month, September 22, to be more precise. He adds that this is probably the early access date so we assume the beta will be truly open to everyone a day or two later, so players can try it out over weekend days - September 24 and 25.
Until officially announced, though, we suggest you take it with a dose of scepticism since the fake beta date surfaced a couple of days ago, suggesting that the test would start September 6, but it looks like that won't be happening.
So yeah, there's plenty of false information floating around the internet so don't take anything for certain until DICE and EA officially confirm or deny it.
Battlefield 2042 is scheduled to launch on October 22, 2021 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
