EA and DICE are back with Battlefield 2042's new limited-time live event, "Circle of Hell," and it should be an intense new experience. This four-week limited-time live event, running from Tuesday, October 29, through Tuesday, November 26, will add Hardcore gameplay modes that push players to the limits of increased lethality and strategic demands.
In the Circle of Hell trailer, developers add three new Hardcore modes: Hardcore Conquest, Hardcore Rush, and Hardcore Breakthrough. Of these, they really amp up the challenge to higher damage and a more restricted HUD to locked weapons.
To be able to survive such deadly encounters, players will have to heavily rely on skill and precision.
Hardcore map rotation contains of four maps, with updated Battle of the Bulge and El Alamein, Orbital and Redacted. Battle of the Bulge and El Alamein are visually refreshed for a better experience.
Fans of the M1 Garand will be pleased to learn that the star of Portal will also make its way to All-Out Warfare as part of DICE's ongoing efforts to further flesh out players' arsenals.
Besides these gameplay changes, Circle of Hell brings a new Event Pass full of cosmetic items and spicy rewards, enabling players to unlock new gear while fighting through the battlefield.
The pass also contains plenty of unlockables, which include four legendary items, among other event-specific rewards such as BFCs.
With the revamped maps, new modes of play, and thrilling unlockables, the Circle of Hell event in Battlefield 2042 promises to be one adrenaline-fueled addition to the game's community-to-come, both for hardcore fans and casual players alike.
