Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is finally receiving the Season 2 Reloaded update with new in-game content, including crossover events, operator bundles and new battle royale features.
The mid-season update introduces new weapons, Dune: Rule of Fate and Warhammer 40,000: For the Emperor! Events, new map POI, killstreak and field upgrade to Call of Duty: Warzone 2 to freshen up the gameplay experience. The new in-game POI, killstreak, and field upgrade will be available with the launch of Season 2 Reloaded.
Everything New in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded will be available from March 6 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET/5 pm UK. The new patch introduces a new Fortune's Keep POI, killstreak, and field upgrade for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.
Research Vessel
The Research Vessel is a pontoon-style watercraft that will be stationed on the coast of Fortune's Keep. This new dynamic POI stays on the move throughout the first two minutes of a match before dropping anchor in one of a few predetermined locations.
The ship features multiple levels as well as its own Helipad and Ascenders. After commandeering a Research Vessel, you'll be able to complete the following actions:
- Access a decontamination station that works like the PDS.
- Watch for enemies after activating the UAV tower.
- Ability to purchase unique and exclusive items from the particular Buy Station.
- Pilot any Helicopter/Chopper onto the helipad.
New Killstreak — Bunker Buster
Players can use binoculars to target a building with the Bunker Buster Killstreak in-game. Once the player activates it, a missile will drop down on the building, causing an explosive blast through multiple floors. As a result, targeted enemies will be eliminated, and a gas column will be left behind.
New Field Upgrade — Portable Decontamination Station
Players can now clear away gas using the new Portable Decontamination Station (PDS) Field Upgrade. With this item, players can decide when it’s time to move. The PDS emits a cloud of chemicals that counteracts the corrosive effects of the circle gas, and a temporary safe zone is created for all Operators within its area of effect.
The new map POI, killstreak, and field upgrade will be available with the Season 2 Reloaded update across all platforms. The latest POI will surely become a landing hotspot in Fortune's Keep once available in-game.
