It looks like Assassin's Creed Valhalla file size won't eat up too much of your hard drive. According to the game listing on Xbox store, Valhalla's file size is only 50 GB.

Ubisoft's Viking-themed action-adventure Assassin's Creed Valhalla is just around the corner and today, we have some new details about the game that include the approximated download size on Xbox and potentially other platforms.

Over at the official Xbox Store , in the additional information section of Assassin's Creed Valhalla listing, it's confirmed that the game's file size will be approximately 50 GB. This is quite surprising since lately, we've seen some huge game file sizes so hats off to Ubisoft for their compression methods.

We also know that Valhalla's world will be the same if not larger than Odyssey which is why the base game will also be 5 GB bigger than the predecessor (45 GB). However as you may know, Odyssey's file size is now closer to 100 GB after all the updates and DLCs so it's expected that Valhalla's file size will exceed the 100 GB mark in the future.

At the moment, we do not know the file size on PC and PlayStation but it's safe to assume that it will be similar in size, though, you can expect it to be a bit bigger on PC due to higher-resolution textures.

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is officially hitting the shelves on November 10, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and November 12, 2020, for PlayStation 5.
