Assassin's Creed Valhalla has received its day one patch, which should introduce several performance improvements and bug fixes. On PS4, the patch is around 2.9 GB.
Ahead of the official launch next month, Ubisoft have released a day one patch for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. The patch brings various bug fixes, improvements to performance and stability and more. At the moment, the patch is available on PlayStation 4 and the file size is around 2.9 GB. The size should also be similar on PC and Xbox One.
Here are the full patch notes for Assassin's Creed Valhalla patch 1.01:
- Fine-tuned the balancing of the game
- Improved performance and stability
- Miscellaneous bug fixes
As you can see, Ubisoft did not share detailed patch notes which would give us a closer look at all the bugs that were squashed since the final build. As for the performance improvements, well, we do not know what exactly to expect. Ubisoft's games are usually quite demanding on PC, requiring beefy hardware to reach stable 60 FPS on higher settings.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is officially hitting the shelves on November 10, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. The game will also be playable on PlayStation 5 at launch. Valhalla is part of Smart Delivery and free upgrade program on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, respectively, which means you get the next-gen version for free if you purchase the game on current-gen.
