New Tek Tier armour sets and dinosaurs launching today as a part of the update
Several new abilities will become available to the players using the Tek Tier armour sets. The abilities can be combined to make the optimum build and gain the upper hand in the, now tweaked, boss battles. Tek tier abilities can be accessed after the player acquired the Tek tier element from a defeated boss, and gained the knowledge to level up and use it.
Tek tier armour includes:
Studio Wildcard
- Tek Vision: Identify AI enemies and creatures, in addition to players
- Tek Boots: No fall damage and the ability to climb up steep cliffs and slopes
- Tek Pants: Faster running speed
- Tek Gauntlet: Punching power increased
- Tek Rifle: Laser-shooting gun with long scope
- Jetpack
- Night Vision
The bosses will be dropping new items and the battles will now feature three difficulty levels. Already defeated bosses are also going to be dropping new items.
The jousting feature is now available including the all-important lances and shields. Raptors and other creatures are available to ride during the matches.
The creative director Jesse Rapczak stated that this is "the patch to kick off the final stretch", possibly referring to the official launch. Even though the official release date has not been published yet, the game is expected to release sometime in 2017.
