Not all players had the luck of experiencing Rampart in all her glory, at' least not without errors and glitches, but Respawn came to the rescue with a quick patch.

While we can't personally say we've encountered many glitches with Rampart, but browsing through the patch notes makes it pretty clear that many others did.

Which is a shame really considering she's just been introduced to Apex Legends, but in Respawn's defence, they've reacted pretty quick to snuff them out. Anyway, the following have been addressed:

  • Rampart Amped Wall client error in softened gore locales
  • Fix a server error causing immediate disconnects when Rampart puts down a wall
  • Fix an error caused in some instances where a player is on Rampart's turret when it is destroyedIssue around specific Bloodhound skin getting a stretched neck while using Rampart turret. We are still working on this issue for Lifeline's Guardian Angel skin
  • Rampart's "Boom" finisher line from playing across the map

Devotion's switcheroo with R-99 introduced some glitches on both, and the update should firstly fix kill stat tracking for the latter.

As for Devotion, its damage has been dropped from 17 to 16, and the recoil has been increased. The number of Devotions and Turbochargers spawning on the map has been dropped as well, and the same goes for the number of gold helms, gold backpacks and gold shields.

Note that there will be more changes to Devotion at a later date, but this is a start.
