Apex Legends Season 7 is officially kicking off on November 4, 2020, with a brand new map named Olympus, new legend Horizon, Trident vehicle, Clubs feature and new battle pass.
Respawn's free-to-play battle royale Apex Legends is introducing a fresh batch of content via its Season 7 update, which is officially coming on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. After many leaks and rumours, EA and Respawn have detailed everything that will be included in the upcoming update.
The game is getting a brand new map named Olympus, which is described as "a beautiful, lush city in the clouds". We're yet to see this new map but a reveal trailer is expected in the upcoming days.
Additionally, Season 7 is also introducing a new Legend named Horizon. This female character is "a brilliant astrophysicist who escaped a black hole and aims to use her newfound mastery of gravity to keep a promise".
Since Olympus map is pretty big Respawn have added a new Trident Vehicle which has plenty of room for the whole squad. This will be the first vehicle in Apex Legends and it looks like The Trident is some sort of a hover vehicle.
A new Battle Pass is also coming with over 100 items including Legendary skins, Apex Packs and other in-game items. Last but not least, Clubs are arriving with Season 7. This is a community-like feature but at the moment we do not have any additional details on how exactly Clubs will work.
Apex Legends Season 7 also marks the official release on Steam. All your progress will also carry over from Origin to Valve's storefront.
Apex Legends is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
