Fortune’s Favor, Apex Legends fifth season has seen the highest player retention and weekly hours played than any season before, EA have confirmed in their latest press release.
Apex Legends is one of the most popular battle royale titles in the world and it recently entered its fifth season named Fortune's Favor. EA and Respawn already talked just how successful the game has been for them and of course, we can only expect to see new additions and fresh content in the near future.
Today, EA have announced that Apex Legends Season 5 is off to a fantastic start, becoming the most popular season to date. EA say that more new players are coming into the game and along with returning players, this has driven "the highest player retention for a season launch", with players playing for longer periods of time per day than ever before.
Furthermore, Season 5 content is doing great on social media. According to EA, Apex Legends Season 5 trailers earned more than 47 million views to date, which is most ever for the game's season launch trailers.
This is, of course, great news for the game and also the publisher EA and developer Respawn Entertainment. It's even more impressive with Call of Duty: Warzone launching recently and Fortnite being stronger than ever with its live concerts and trailer premieres.
Apex Legends is available on PC and consoles.
