Respawn continue to outdo themselves in the cinematic department and the trailer for Season 7: Ascension marries the old with the new, the latter being the map, Trident hoverbike and new legend, Horizon.
Not that we haven't come to expect excellence from Respawn, but Season 7: Ascension's launch trailer is easily our favourite trailer so far.
It kicks off with everyone's darling Mirage, who at this point really deserves a movie for all his antics. Rampart also got ample time in the spotlight, and the same goes for the tin can, Pathfinder.
At the peak of Apex Legends: S7 Ascension trailer, Horizon makes her grand entrance, and at this point, we can safely say that she'll be among the most picked characters once the season kicks off. And, as you'll see in the trailer, Season 7: Ascension kickoff time is November 4, 2020, so not much longer until we can dive in.
Respawn describe Horizon as "a brilliant astrophysicist who escaped a black hole and aims to use her newfound mastery of gravity to keep a promise."
Season 7: Ascension trailer also shows off the new map, Olympus, tying it into Apex Legends' lore. One thing's for certain - it's one colourful place, and we've no doubt it will be a blast to play.

Season 7: Ascension also brings Apex Legends to Steam, and your progress from Origin will carry over. And playing on Steam lets you earn the special Valve-flavoured charms .
