Apex Legends has been incredibly popular since the day it launched and this sort of popularity usually comes with a bunch of cheaters. EA and Respawn claim to be doing all in their power to address this but it doesn't seem to be enough.

Even though Apex Legends' Reddit page has plenty of posts that are heartwarming, hilarious or both, Respawn's Daily Discussion post from 17 March 2019 is a grim reminder of the number of cheaters that are plaguing the game at the moment.

For what it's worth, aimbots seem to be the most prevalent cheating method in Apex Legends as most users are raging over being downed incredibly fast from quite the distance. Apparently, aimbot and Longbow DRM seem to make quite the pairing.

Speedhacking isn't far along and there's more than a single report of downed enemies crawling away faster than the Flash on a Monday morning coffee high, only to return after being patched up by their teammates. Who of course could easily be half the map away.

Add to that the constant experienced by some players and it's no wonder the daily discussions on Reddit are turning into toxicity-fests.

In fact, the same post revealed a bug with the recently added , which, as it turns out, allows players with legendary Knock-down Shields to launch and revive themselves mid-air. We haven't had the chance to test this, or check whether you can still be shot down while doing it, but we'll keep an eye out.

Many players, however, seem to be more interested in getting Apex Legends Battle Pass than addressing cheating, at least judging by the number of enquiries on the subject.

Even though Vince Zampella recently confirmed via Twitter that they have a set date for the Apex Legends Battle Pass, he hasn't shared it so we'll have to do some more waiting. Hopefully, it's only a bit more.

So far, Respawn have banned more than from Apex Legends, which is about 0.71 per cent of its latest player milestone of .

You can find the Daily Discussion post and see for yourself, if you've got a few hours to spare, although skimming it should be more than enough.
