Fans of Anno franchise rejoice - Ubisoft and Blue Byte have announced the Anno History Collection, which has four absolute franchise classics in a single, modernised package.
So, Anno History Collection contains four of fan-favourite instalments - 1602, 1503, 1701 and 1404, and we're not talking about just visual tweaks either.
All of the games are ported to 64-bit in order to improve performance and stability. Blue Byte also reminded that this means Anno 1404 won't be running out of memory.
Anno History Collection will support resolutions up to 4K, so you can show off your empires in their full glory.
Blue Byte will be implementing much of what they've learned along the way and so the History Collection comes with improved multiplayer, where all games run through Uplay.
Not only does this mean that Anno 1503's multiplayer is finally a reality - Anno History Collection will have quickmatch support and desync recovery, just like the franchise's latest instalment, Anno 1800.
The collection features full save compatibility in singleplayer and multiplayer, just in case you still have your saves laying around.
Note that each game from the Anno History Collection comes as a complete package, with all the expansions and any other piece of officially released content they may have received over the years.
Anno History Collection launches on June 25, 2020, exclusively for Uplay and the complete package will set you back €39.99 / $39.99. You can also choose to get the games separately, where Anno 1404 History Edition goes for €14.99 / $14.99, while the rest are priced at €9.99 / $9.99.
