Activision Blizzard have provided an official statement regarding the potential release of Call of Duty and Diablo games on Microsoft's subscription service Xbox Game Pass.
Activision stated that while there are no plans to release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Diablo 4 on Xbox Game Pass in 2023 they will be working with Microsoft to add their games to the service sometime in 2024.
While some Game Pass players will find this disappointing, Microsoft and Activision have stated before that it will take some time to add all those games to Game Pass.
Here is Activision Blizzard's statement in full:
"While we do not have plans to put Modern Warfare III or Diablo IV into Game Pass this year, once the deal closes, we expect to start working with Xbox to bring our titles to more players around the world. And we anticipate that we would begin adding games into Game Pass sometime in the course of next year."
With the addition of Activision's titles like Call of Duty, Spyro, Diablo and more, Xbox Game Pass is set to become an even better deal for all players, if the price remains the same, that is.
Microsoft have previously hinted that Game Pass price will inevitably rise in the future and that could happen once the Activision Blizzard deal closes and all those games arrive to Game Pass.
